Lill Baby Takes Top Prize At Second Annual Apple Music Awards

Lil Baby won first prize at the second Annual Music Awards, it was announced Thursday. Other winners include Megan Thee Stallion and Taylor Swift.

Celebration Week starting December 14th

There will be a full week of Apple Music Awards celebrations, starting December 14. It will include special performances, fan events and streaming interviews on Apple Music, Apple Music TV and Apple TV. Oliver Schusser, vice president of Apple Music and Beats, commented:

The Apple Music Awards are our opportunity to recognize and honor the amazing artists we believe have profoundly influenced and inspired the world and our customers and helped us feel connected through music this year. We have an exciting week of music planned for December and we can’t wait to celebrate with these artists and their fans.

Lil Baby, Megan Thee Stallion and Taylor Swift win the Apple Music Awards

Lil Baby was named Artist of the Year. He said:

This year has changed me a lot. Now that I am an artist, I feel that my voice can be heard through my music and I needed to say something. And my fans listened. So thanks to my fans and thanks to Apple Music for giving me a special way to connect with my fans.
