Knockout City Revealed for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC, arrives May 21st with Crossplay

The game also has a closed beta that you can sign up for on Steam.

As always with a good Nintendo Direct, there are always some surprises out of the ordinary. Today’s Direct had quite a few, it seemed, but the one that really stood out was Knockout City, which had its big reveal.

The trailer, which you can watch in full below, features a cast of seemingly random characters as they talk about how they’ll help their team win. It’s a little weird, but then move on to the gameplay that sees you and your teammates engaging in a game of dodgeball, or whatever they prefer to call it, DodgeBRAWL. The game is developed by Velan Studios, who recently made Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, and is said to have crossplay at launch.

Knockout City will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One (with improvements on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, respectively), Switch and PC. There is also a closed beta for Steam starting February 20, which you can read more about Here.
