JSCA inspects ground for cricket stadium in Bokaro | Ranchi News

Bokaro: A team from the Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) inspected the appropriations site for the proposed cricket stadium in Bokaro and expressed satisfaction, officials said Sunday. The 20-acre land near Visthapit College in Balidih was offered by BSL on Saturday, a team of six members of the JSCA led by its president Nafees Akhtar chose site inspection. Also present were BSL officials and Bokaro MLA Biranchi Narayan. They also met separately with BSL Director Amarendu Prakash and Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Singh. The stadium aims to come up with an investment of Rs 250 crore. BSL, which gave the main approval for the land allotment to JSCA, asked for three main things before closing the deal: Adequate advertising rights for Steel Authority of India Limited (BSL’s parent entity) within and outside the stadium, sufficient seats for SAIL officers and guests in the VVIP pits and a SAIL representative on the stadium management committee.
