Pu also says that the iPhone 14 Pro will have a triple camera system on the back with a 48MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and a 12MP telephoto module. TF International Securities’ Ming-Chi Kuo had previously also said that the high-end iPhone 14 models would feature a 48MP main camera which would elevate smartphone photography to a new level. Kuo had also claimed that the Pro models would be able to record 8K videos.
According to Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will have more RAM than any prior iPhone, according to MacRumors. According to reports, Apple will discontinue the 5.4-inch iPhone small model in 2022, replacing it with the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and 14 Pro, as well as the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max and Pro Max. The maximum RAM on the iPhone 13 devices is now 6GB, while the ordinary iPhone 13 models are limited to 4GB. Pu had previously stated that next year’s Pro versions would have up to 8GB of RAM, and he has now confirmed this. According to the analyst, the iPhone 14 series would begin with 64GB of storage. For comparison, the iPhone 12’s base model has 128GB of storage.
What does make more sense is having more RAM on the iPhone 14 series. However what would make even more sense is making the iPhones support real multi-tasking, like other operating systems (like Android, Windows, Mac OS, Linux, …). Is it me or is it just strange with PA, and some other Apple zealots talk about how fast iPhones are, yet they still cannot perform any real multi-tasking with split screen multi-tasking. Considering this is going onto 2022, and iPhones still can’t do any real multi-tasking with split screen multi-tasking is a real joke, and a real farse from Apple.
Samsung’s next high-end flagship is expected to feature a very impressive camera array so it will be interesting to see the two duke it out for the title of the best smartphone camera. And lastly, Pu also asserts that all four models will sport a 120Hz display, something which doesn’t align with a report that said the iPhone 14 and 14 Max would retain 60Hz screens. Per earlier reports, the Pro models will come with a pinhole screen and the series will be powered by a 4nm chipset. Also, these could be the last Pro models with a physical SIM card slot.
Apple doesn’t insrease their iOS that much every year either. We are almost in 2022 and iPhones still can’t do any real multi-tasking with split screen multi-tasking. The Apple zealots would always say that the iPhone screens are too small. Yet the iPhone 13 pro Max has a 6.7″ OLED display, with a really fast CPU, and GPU. Yet it still can’t perform real multi-tasking with split screen multi-tasking. What a joke!
