Ubisoft has also announced plans to bring Ubisoft+ to Xbox, although further details have not been revealed. Recently, Ubisoft did reveal Ubisoft+ Classics, which will be included with the new premium PS+ subscription tiers on PlayStation consoles, so it seems likely that we’ll see similar integration on Xbox over the summer.
Ubisoft announced plans to boost up its Xbox Game Pass efforts earlier this year, with Rainbow Six Extraction being included as a day-one release. More Ubisoft games will be added to Game Pass in June, ahead of the launch of a new Ubisoft+ subscription service. For Honor: Marching Fire Edition will be added to Xbox Game Pass on June 1st, while Assassin’s Creed Origins will be added later that month, on June 7th. Assassin’s Creed Origins is also coming at a nice moment, since the game is due to receive a 60FPS update for Xbox One and PlayStation 5.
Highlights
Later this year, Ubisoft will also have new announcements for upcoming games, including release dates for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Skull & Bones, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and a new Assassin’s Creed game. KitGuru Says: Ubisoft seems to be having a slow year, so it makes sense to try and rejuvenate back catalogue games this year by making bets on subscription services.
