Huawei has just launched its Mate 40 series smartphones for the global market. The availability and price of the new Huawei phones is not yet known for the Indian market. But just to tell you, the Huawei Mate 40 series includes three new smartphones: Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro +.
According to some leaks to come, now Huawei’s next phone could be a foldable foldable phone similar to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. First noticed by Tiger Mobiles, the new patent reveals that Huawei plans to include a secondary display on the outside of its foldable flip phone. The secondary display of Huawei’s purported flip phone may be larger in size than the Galaxy Z Flip smartphone launched earlier this year.
Tiger Mobiles reported that Huawei has issued a patent with the Chinese Patent Office, also known as the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA). The leaked rough sketches of Huawei’s foldable phone show a large display on the outside with two side holes that could be the dual rear cameras.
The frame of the foldable phone contains some buttons which can be the volume rocker and the power button. The rough sketch of the phone when unfolded reveals nothing. It simply shows that the phone is bound with a hinge. This could mean that the company will exclude a front-facing camera, or it could opt for an under-display camera.
If we believe the latest leaks, it shows that Huawei has plans to invent a flip phone. And from a smartphone maker like Huawei, it’s no surprise that they want to try their hands on a foldable phone this time around. After all companies like Samsung and Motorola have already launched second generation foldable phones.
