Business News: Hero MotoCorp will resume production at all its plants from 24 May..
Hero MotoCorp announced on Saturday that it is preparing for a gradual resumption of operations at its manufacturing facilities in India. It will resume phased production across all of its floors in the country from May 24, 2021.
The company has already started a single production shift at its Haryana and Haridwar plants from May 17. Additionally, Hero’s other plans in Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Andhra Pradesh will also start operations on a single shift. from next Monday (May 24). Hero added that he continues to monitor the situation and will gradually move towards dual shift production, based on the future situation.
The company also informed in a press release sent last Saturday that the company has already vaccinated more than 90% of Hero MotoCorp’s overall employees over 45 years of age. It also launched an organization-wide initiative to vaccinate the remaining workforce.
The company also recently announced the establishment of a 100-bed Covid-19 care facility in Gurugram in the fight against the second wave of Covid-19. The company partnered with the Gurugram district administration to create the facility.
