The Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro is one of the best smartphones in the market at the pricing they ask for. With high camera quality and high performing processor, Note 8 and Note 8 Pro are the complete smartphone for high-end usage. Let’s have a quick look at the specifications.

The smartphone hit the market pretty well today. Redmi Note 8 Pro is available in three colors; Gamma Green, Halo White & Shadow Black. But the Note 8 comes in four color options different from the Pro version; Neptune Blue, Moon Light White, Space Black and Cosmic Purple.


First the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The Note 8 Pro is framed in an aluminum body with glass finish in the back. Both front and back are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. With a big camera setup of four cameras, the Note 8 Pro looks dashing while light reflects on it. The base variant is available in Shadow Black, Halo White and Gamma Green.

Redmi Note 8 also comes with an aluminum frame and glass back. As same as the Pro version, the back, and the front glasses are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The difference is in the rear color of Note 5. It has a more stylish look than the Pro. Note 8 also comes in a completely different color; Neptune Blue, Moonlight White, Space Black, and Purple.

Note 8 Pro has an IPS LCD 6.53 inches display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The big display delivers a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a pixel density of ~395 PPI. With HDR the display can give a brightness of 500 nits, making your outdoor experience better.

Note 8 also has an IPS LCD. The display sizes to 6.3 inches giving you a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display gives a pixel density of ~409 PPI.

Coming to Redmi Note 8 Pro, it is packed up with the Mediatek Helio G90T (12nm). The Octacore CPU of 2×2.05 GHz Cortex-A76 & 6×2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 is supported along with the GPU of Mali G76 MC4. Note 8 Pro comes in three RAM/ROM variants; 64GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 6GB RAM, 128GB 8GB RAM along with UFS2.1 for faster transfer speed. The hardware offered by Xiaomi is best in the price range for rough use or multitasking all day long.

Redmi Note 8 is powered by the powerful Qualcomm SDM665 Snapdragon 665 (11 nm). The Octacore processor of 4×2.0 GHz Kryo 260 Gold & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 260 Silver, performed the best in every smartphone it was included in. Giving you the freedom of high-end gaming, Note 8 comes in three RAM/ROM variants; 32GB 3GB RAM, 64GB 4GB RAM, 128GB 4GB RAM and is expandable up to 256 GB.

This can shoot videos at 1080p@30fps.

The above setup can shoot videos at 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps.

This can shoot at 1080p@30fps.

battery & charging

Redmi Note 8 Pro and Note 8 are packed with 4500mAh and 4000mAh battery respectively. Both devices are charged up by the 18W fast charging system. According to some tests, battery endurance can be up to 114 hours.
