Google Camera Go is an ultimate solution for better photography with budget smartphones. Launched with Nokia 1.3 earlier this year, Google Camera Go is pre-installed on the phone as the default camera app. Camera Go allows users to take advantage of some of Google’s AI photography tricks using minimal phone resources.
Google Camera Go already comes with many options like Portrait mode and other effects, and now the company is ready to add a dedicated night mode for shooting in low light conditions. Google says, “Camera Go users with these devices will now be able to take higher quality photos with brighter and more accurate colors even in low light environments such as dimly lit indoor spaces or outdoors at night.”
What’s even more impressive about this new addition is that Night Mode has been optimized for devices with 1GB of RAM or less. So essentially, the Camera Go app was designed for low-end hardware to deliver photographic results as good as any other photo. Although the images clicked by Google Camera Go may not match the results produced by the Pixel Night Sight mode, however, the photos are par excellence.
As Google explains, “The Night Mode feature can also automatically capture simultaneous shots and merge them to produce sharper photos in low light conditions. Users can enable the new feature as a file. alternative in flash mode when the flash is not suitable and still takes great pictures without the need to adjust camera settings. “
The Google Camera Go update for night mode will be rolled out for the first time on Nokia 1.3 smartphones. All Nokia 1.3 owners in 27 countries will be able to update their Camera Go app via the Google Play Store. For the rest of the Android Go devices, the feature will be released in the coming months.
