A QUESTION OF BALANCE TO KEEP IN VINCENNES
A Matter of Balance is designed to reduce the fear of falling and increase activity levels among the elderly. Participants learn to set realistic goals to increase activity, change their environment to reduce fall risk factors, and learn simple exercises to increase strength and balance. Generations’ A Matter of Balance: Managing Concerns About Falls will be offered at the University of Vincennes Green Activities Center, 120 W. Harrison St., starting March 30 and continuing every Tuesday through May 18. from 1-3 pm This 8-week program is offered free of charge, but pre-registration is required. Stitches are limited and masks are needed! A workbook will be provided and refreshments will be served.
