GEEKOM is offering some decent discounts on three of its mini desktop PCs: the MiniAir 11, the Mini IT8 (which we reviewed here), and the Mini IT11. The MiniAir 11 is selling for US$219 (a $60 discount), the Mini IT8 is on sale for $349 (a $90 discount), and the new Mini IT11 is going for $529 (a $140 discount). The Mini IT11, which is set to launch on July 15th, is perhaps the biggest draw. It sports an 11th Gen Intel Core i5-1135G7 or Core i7-1165G7, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, up to 16 GB of RAM, and a 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD.

GEEKOM, a manufacturer of small PCs, is starting the first of three sales events this summer by slashing the price of its Intel-based models by up to US$140, or around 22%. The new Mini IT11, one of the devices now on the market, features an 11th Gen Core i7-1165G7 processor with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. Tiger Lake Windows Desktop Intel Mini PC in a Chinese Tech Deal. GEEKOM’s summer sale, which begins today, may interest you if you’re looking for a new desktop PC but are concerned about size.

Highlights

  • The sale runs from today through July 20. GEEKOM will run two more sales this summer, including a back-to-school sale from August 1-15. I’ve been a computer geek my entire life. After graduating college with a degree in Mathematics, I worked in finance and banking a few years before taking a job as a database administrator. I started working with Notebookcheck in October of 2016 and have enjoyed writing news and reviews. I’ve also written for other outlets including UltrabookReview and GeeksWorldWide, focusing on consumer guidance and video gaming. My areas of interest include the business side of technology, retro gaming, Linux, and innovative gadgets. When I’m not writing on electronics or tinkering with a device, I’m either outside with my family, enjoying a decade-old video game, or playing drums or piano.

  • The Mini IT8 packs an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8259U with Intel Iris Plus Graphics 655. In our review, we noted that it offers good overall performance in a small and quiet case, although its chipset is beginning to show its age. The MiniAir 11 is GEEKOM’s newest device. It’s a lower-specced machine powered by an 11th Gen Intel Celeron N5095 with Intel UHD Graphics 605. It ships with 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB PCIe SSD. It should be able to handle most office tasks and web browsing while remaining power-efficient and quiet.
