Garmin Venu Sq smartwatch launched in India, price starts at Rs 21,090

Garmin has launched two new smartwatches in India. The US-based company unveiled Venu Sq and launched the Venu Sq music edition. The smartwatches are packed with features including heart rate monitoring, hydration monitoring, breathing monitoring, battery energy monitoring of the body. The smartwatches were launched in the global market in September but are now available in India.

As for the price. The Garmin Venu Sq is priced at Rs Rs. 21,090 in India, while the music edition is at Rs. 26,290. The smartwatches can be taken to Garmin stores and other retail stores, including Helios, Just in Time, Lifestyle, Kamal Watch, and Malabar Watch stores. In addition to offline stores, it can be purchased soon on the e-commerce platform including Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Paytm Mall, and Tata CliQ.

The Garmin Venu Sq will be available in three attractive color options including metallic orchid / orchid, white / light gold and shadow gray / slate. While the music edition will be available in four colors such as light sand / rose gold, dark blue / light gold, moss / slate and black / slate.

Garmin Venu Sq, Venu Sq Music Edition: specifications and features

Garmin has introduced some exciting new features with its Venu Sq and Venu Sq music editions. The smartwatches come with 20 preloaded sports apps which include activities such as yoga, pilates, running, strength training on bike. It has a dedicated section called Health Stats which monitors your heart rate, stress level, body battery, breathing, and Pulse Ox.

It boasts an elegant design which is suitable for both male and female users. The watch features a bright color display and optional always-on mode, so you can see everything with a quick glance. For protection, use gorilla glass 3 corning protection. Garmin has used soft silicone straps that are both lightweight and comfortable to wear.

There is also a personal running coach in the watch that will guide users for 5km, 10km runs and marathons. It also has some health-related features such as breathing monitoring which monitors your breathing pattern throughout the day and also during sleep and during breathing and yoga activities.

The watch also has a feature called a hydration tracker that informs you about your fluid intake in a day. You can record your daily fluid intake as a reminder to stay hydrated. You can also have an automatic hydration goal that adjusts based on the amount of sweat you lose during activities.
