While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. The fpPS4 emulator, developed by red-prig, is a new Playstation 4 emulator for the PC. fpPS4 is an open-source PS4 emulator that presently supports two commercial games, according to reports. Sonic Mania and We Are Doomed are the two games in question. The fourth Playstation 4 emulator to debut on the internet is fpPS4. Kyty, Spine, and GPCS4 are the other three. All four emulators are still in the early stages of development, so don’t expect to play any triple-A PS4 titles on your PC anytime soon. Regardless, it’s exciting to see more emulators emerge.
