DETROIT (Reuters) – Ford Motor Co on Friday said it will be leaving one of its Kentucky plants inactive next week due to a semiconductor shortage.

Louisville assembly plant, where Ford builds Ford Escape and Lincoln Corsair SUVs, will be shut down for a scheduled week from later in the year, said Ford spokesman Kelli Felker, who declined to identify the semiconductor supplier.
