PLEASANTON (KPIX) – In the Tri Valley, the coronavirus pandemic is forcing the restaurant industry to devise new ways to boost business. The result: Taste Tri-Valley, a weekly catering program to help businesses survive.
Friday night in downtown Pleasanton was busy this week. Despite the temperatures in the 1950s, many of the outdoor dining tables were full when diners showed up to support local restaurants.
Sabio on Main was serving a special three-course meal in hopes of putting together some business.
“It’s pretty difficult for everyone. It’s no secret that sales have dropped across the board, ”Eian Cathcart told Sabio on Main.
