It is that time of year when pollution in India, particularly in the North, is at its peak. The air in Delhi is almost unbreathable. Dyson, a British company specializing in premium and high-tech appliances, has launched a new air purifier in India. Called Pure Hot + Cold Cryptomic, this purifier purifies the air and helps maintain room temperature through its cooling or heating functions.

The Dyson Pure Hot + Cold Cryptomic is also the company’s most expensive air purifier in India. It was valued at Rs 61,900. Just like other Dyson appliances, the Pure Hot + Cold also uses a bladeless design to push air around it.

Dyson says its latest air purifier can also trap chemical formaldehyde particles emanating from organic matter ensuring the air is not only clean but odor-free as well. Formaldehydes are considered carcinogenic, which means they potentially increase the risk of cancer, but given the poor air quality in Delhi and most other major Indian cities, formaldehydes are the least of the concerns in our homes.

“Leveraging Dyson’s expertise in chemistry, detection, filtration and fluid dynamics, Dyson Pure Hot + Cool Cryptomic machines are designed to be the total air purification solution for your home, removing ultrafine particles, odors, gases and destroying formaldehyde, continuously, ”said Charlie Park, global category director for environmental control at Dyson.

As we approach winter, most users are likely to find the Hot + Cool technology of the new Dyson air purifier more useful. Dyson notes: “With thermostat-controlled heat control, the machine automatically maintains the ambient temperature in the room. The heating function will go into standby mode once the target is reached and will reactivate once it detects a drop in temperature. “

For the summer, the Dyson Hot + Cool can be used with the fan mode “to provide a powerful, frontal flow of purified air”. While it’s not air conditioning, the fan mode can help users keep the room cool.

Like other Dyson products, this is also an extremely high-end product with a unique design. And just like other Dyson products, Hot + Cool Cryptomic is packed with cutting edge features. There are tons of sensors inside the air purifier, the air is distributed evenly, and features like night mode, the ability to control via voice commands using Alexa will likely ensure a good user experience. But all of this comes at a reasonable price. Unlike other air purifiers, its price of Rs 61,900 is the upper limit for such a product.

Dyson has a new air purifier in India and coming at a time when pollution rises and the temperature drops, the new Pure Hot + Cold Cryptomic purifier cleans the air and helps maintain room temperature.
