FRANKFURT (Reuters) – According to the bank’s website, Stefan Viertel has taken a seat on Deutsche Bank’s 20-member supervisory board as an employee representative.
Viertel, Head of Institutional Cash Sales and Customer Management for Hungary, took over from Stephan Szukalski, an official of the DBV banking union.
Szukalski only partially passed a five-year term, but on Wednesday told Reuters he had long planned to step down due to the union’s high workload and other priorities.
Deutsche Bank also said the move has been planned for some time.
