Delay of “one or two weeks” for Hellpoint on Xbox Series

This delay will have no impact on the launch of the “Blue Sun” downloadable content. If you’re an Xbox Series owner, you will be able to play the add-on tomorrow, as planned, using the backward compatibility and Microsoft Smart Delivery feature. Also, Hellpoint game saves on Xbox One will be compatible with Xbox Series.

The Xbox Series release of Hellpoint has been postponed by “one to two weeks” from its original planned July 12 release date, according to publisher tinyBuild and developer Cradle Games. As expected, the PlayStation 5 version will still debut on July 12. On July 12, the Xbox Series edition of Hellpoint was supposed to be released. Due to platform-specific technological limitations, this version of the base game will be released a little later than expected. We now anticipate releasing it in one to two weeks. Be on the lookout for announcements.

  • It was obviously a tough call for us here at Cradle Games and for our publishing partners, tinyBuild. We apologize for the delay and hope for your understanding. As always, allow us to express our unending gratitude for your support and love. We have the best community we could have ever asked for. Hellpoint is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, and Stadia. Hellpoint for PS5, Xbox Series launches July 12 alongside expansion ‘Blue Sun’
