CDPR's next Gwent game will not be released on Xbox

Game director Vladimir Tortsov elaborated on this on the This Week in Gwent stream, saying, “With consoles, we left them for a reason. There was obviously some good about them otherwise it wouldn’t be released on consoles in the first place, but for live service games with frequent updates it was a really tough experience,” adding, “Overall, since we’re not there, we’re not planning to bring any of our spin-offs to consoles at this point.”

CD Projekt Red has stated that its single-player Gwent spinoff game, Project Golden Nekker, will not be coming to consoles. IGN received confirmation from CDPR. We don’t yet know when Projekt Golden Nekker will be released, but Gwent comms lead Pawe Burza tells IGN that it will be accessible for PC, iOS, and Android.
