CHICO, California – For the first time in nearly a year, Butte County football players are putting on pads.
Under new leadership from the California Department of Public Health, contact sports such as soccer, baseball, softball, and soccer are allowed to compete when their counties are at the purple and red level.
Action News Now reporter Amy Lanski spoke to the coaches from Chico and Pleasant Valley to find out what this means for their players.
