Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) continues to bring new subscription plans or attractive deals and offers for users. In a recent attempt to get people’s attention, the company is giving away a free SIM card. Of course, with terms and conditions applied.

Government-owned telecom service company BSNL charges Rs 20 for each new SIM card. Like any private telecom company, BSNL also asks for money if a user needs a SIM card. But as a promotional offer, the company has decided to give it away for free when a user makes a First Recharge (FRC) of a minimum of Rs 100. First noted by Telecom Talk, this is the condition set by BSNL to be eligible for the free SIM card offer.

Please note that the BSNL Free SIM offer is valid for a limited time, ie from November 14, 2020 to November 28, 2020. The promotional offer is valid for 15 days. Once the free SIM card offer ends, users will again have to pay Rs 20 to get a new SIM card from BSNL.

The BSNL free SIM card offer is valid for all telecommunications operations in which the company operates. Indeed, BSNL may soon become a Pan-Indian operator as MTNL’s license expires in January 2021, it reported. According to a Business Standard report, BSNL may soon begin offering mobile services in the Delhi and Mumbai circles.

For those unfamiliar, BSNL operates in 20 telecommunication circles, while MTNL operates in Delhi and Mumbai for now. MTNL’s license is said to expire in early 2021. Therefore, BSNL is expected to take over the other two circles to become a Pan-Indian operator.
