Berks Catholic and Twin Valley women’s basketball teams lost their District 3 post-season fights on Friday night.
Big Spring beat the Saints 38-33. The game was equalized at 33 with 50 seconds left, but Big Spring lay-up on his next possession and converted free throws in the closing seconds to secure victory.
Spring Grove bordered Twin Valley 64-40. The Raiders were 20 points behind in the fourth quarter when Spring Grove took the playoff win.
