As per the Reports, 77% of tech professionals will seek for new jobs in 2021

Tech News: As per the Reports, 77% of tech professionals will seek for new jobs in 2021.

According to a Michael Page Talent 2021 report, approximately 77% of technology professionals will voluntarily quit their current job and seek a new one by 2021. The lack of growth opportunities, the potential for higher pay and better benefits and underutilized skills are some of the factors that would push these professionals to quit their jobs, the report said.

To retain talent and minimize attrition levels, IT companies have used various talent attraction strategies such as competitive remuneration and benefit packages, remote / flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities, and constant technological advancement.

“Tech professionals are currently in high demand. Hence, it is pertinent for employers to consider remote and hybrid employment models to expand the candidate pool and attract top talent. Entrepreneurs who have had a stellar track record are now looking to close shops and explore new opportunities due to the impact of the covid-19 pandemic. And with that, companies can seek to hire these entrepreneurial talents for their growing startups, ”the report states.

Skills in artificial intelligence and machine learning will be in high demand as there has been high adoption and migration to the cloud across public, private and hybrid models. Larger organizations are developing automation and digital transformation capabilities, with a specific focus on Industry 4.0 in manufacturing setups.

It is also reported that average salaries in the sector will increase by 15-25% from what is currently drawn. Cloud architects, full-stack engineers, and engineering role managers are among the most popular.
