Earlier last week, a report was released on Apple’s launch of up to four new ones iPhone 13 models in 2021, and now we have information through the same source on the iPhone SE 3. Courtesy of Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants – who accepted Twitter to reveal information about the convenient iPhone IF 3 – there is information that the next iPhone SE will not launch in 2021, but will instead launch in 2022.
According to Young, the iPhone SE 3 will come with a 6.06-inch LCD when it finally launches in 2022 and will also feature a dual rear camera setup that will be the same as what we saw earlier on the iPhone 11. The iPhone SE 3, he claims, will also come with a fingerprint sensor instead of FaceID. Also, it is claimed that the phone does not support fast millimeter wave 5G technology, but instead uses sub 6Ghz bands.
Interestingly, Young also reveals some key details about iPhone 13 models that look like they might come with similar sized displays like the iPhone 12 devices. In total there will be four phones under the line-up, with the iPhone The 13 series also said to integrate touch panels (Y-Octa). According to information shared by Young, the iPhone 13 will have a 5.42 inch display, there will be a bigger one iPhone 13 model with 6.06 inch panel. The iPhone 13 Pro will also sport a 6.06-inch display, while the iPhone 13 Pro Max will have a 6.67-inch display.
Also, all models are said to sport OLED panels, however their suppliers will be different. This is because SDC (Samsung Display Co., Ltd.) will supply panels for Pro Max and the smaller model, which could be called Mini, while LGD (LG Display) will make panels for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. The report also states that BOE will also supply panels for Pro and Standard iPhone 13 models.
Of the four, only the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max have the tip for getting a ToF camera. The iPhone 13 models are set up to achieve a dual camera setup, unlike the triple lens ones on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max phones.
