What are you planning to launch at Apple’s event today?
It is no secret that Apple will launch the iPhone 12 series which includes four new iPhone in different sizes and variants. Together with the iPhone, Apple is also expected to launch the smaller and cheaper version of the HomePod, called the HomePod Mini. A Weibo leak claimed that the device would be priced around $ 99 (around Rs 7200) in the US. But the price of India will definitely be higher than this if it gets here. It could easily go up to Rs 10,000 or more.
iPhone Series 12: expected features and specifications
For the first time ever, Apple is expected to launch not one but four new ones iPhone in a single event. There will be more models included iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max. The mini will feature a 5.4-inch screen, the iPhone 12 will have a 6.1-inch screen while pro models like the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max are expected to be equipped with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens respectively. However, despite having different sized screens, all of them will have OLED display panels.
The new ones iPhone will be powered by the latest A14 Bionic chipset which also powers the iPad Air 4. The top-of-the-range models should be equipped with 6GB of RAM while the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 will likely come with 4GB of RAM, according to leaks.
Coming to optics, it was reported that the iPhone 12 Mini and the iPhone 12 will feature a dual camera setup on the back, while Pro models will come with a triple camera setup on the back. The cameras in the main variants should be equipped with LiDAR functionality
A leak on Weibo also suggested that the iPhone will come with support for 15W wireless charging with the MagSafe moniker.
iPhone Series 12: expected price
The iPhone 12 minis will reportedly start at $ 699 in the US while the iPhone 12 could be priced at $ 799 while the Pro models included iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max are expected to start at $ 999 and $ 1,099 in the US respectively. The iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 could be available in black, white, red, blue and green while the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in metallic colors including gold, silver, graphite and blue.
