    Apple has no plans to launch iPhone SE 2021 in first half of next year: Ming-Chi Kuo

    One of the biggest success stories for Apple in 2020 was the new one iPhone SE which was launched earlier this year. The phone was generally well received by buyers and as a result Apple continued to sell a good number of units of the device. With the phone enjoying such success, many expected the company to follow the device with an updated version in early 2021. However, it looks like it may not be the case next year.

    According to Apple’s trusted insider, Ming-Chi Kuo, Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has no plans to release an update of the iPhone SE until the second half of 2021 as the company will continue to focus on maximizing its sales iPhone 12 sets of phones.

    Information released via an investor note from Kuo primarily focuses on the prospects of Apple vendor Genius Electronic Optical which is said to be relying on a new iPhone SE during the first half of 2021 to improve its growth. However, Kuo warned against it and said we shouldn’t expect an announcement for the new one iPhone IF anytime soon.

    Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Kuo has talked about launching a new one iPhone SELF. Previously, Kuo said that a 5.5-inch version of the new iPhone SE will arrive in the second half of 2021 at the earliest.

    The next iPhone SE should be an upgrade over the current generation iPhone SE in both specification and design. As for the specifications, the iPhone SE 2020 comes with the A13 Bionic chipset, leading the show iPhone 11 series as well. On the outside, the iPhone SE comes with a 4.7-inch Retina HD display and a Touch ID. The iPhone SE 2020 brings the look of the iPhone 8 but has the interior of the iPhone 11.
