With the latest iOS 14, Apple has not only rolled out software updates, but has also rolled out a new hardware feature. Now, if you start looking for a physical button, you won’t find it because it’s practically impossible. However, the entire rear panel of the iPhone has now become a touch sensitive area thanks to the new Back Tap function.

The new hardware feature that was implemented by Apple without too much fanfare transforms the back panel of a file iPhone in a button that can be reactivated by touches. However, to use the feature you will first need to find and activate the Back Tap feature.

In your iPhone, go to settings first, then go to Accessibility, then tap. So, if you scroll down, you’ll find the Back Tap option that you’ll need to activate. When you tap the Back Tap option, you will be taken to a separate screen where you will have two options to choose from: Double Tap and Triple Tap. When you choose one of them, you will be given a list of things you can do by simply double tapping on the back panel of the phone.

The Back Tap option can also be used to make certain apps work. However, if you don’t want to use the feature, you can turn it off the same way you turned it on.
