A&M Consolidated baseball team places seventh ahead of Montgomery Lake Creek | Sports news

Brodie Daniel’s two-run single at the bottom of the seventh inning capped a five-run rally when baseball team A&M Consolidated returned to beat Montgomery Lake Creek 10-9 Saturday at the Brazos Valley Invitational at Tiger Field.

Consol’s Nathan Hodge, Cole Eckhardt and Davis Harrell had two hits each. Zach Haas had a triple RBI and Christian Letendre had a single RBI. Brandon Bishop threw two goalless innings to earn the win.

The Tigers will compete in the Brazos Valley Bombers tournament starting Thursday.
