Allegheny Co. Department of Health reports no new deaths, 329 additional cases – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The Allegheny County Department of Health is reporting 329 new Coronavirus cases and no additional deaths.

Of the new cases reported, 224 are confirmed from 921 PCR test. There were 105 probable cases.

Positive test dates vary from From 5 March to 12 March 2021 with one of the positive cases dating back more than a week ago.

The Department of Health says the new cases vary in age from from five months to 97 years, with an average age of 37 years.

There have been 5,367 total hospitalizations and 79,779 total coronavirus cases in Allegheny County since the start of the pandemic.

The death toll across the county reached 1,731.
