Airbus slows A320 acceleration with weaker market outlook

PARIS (Reuters) – Airbus has slowed the projected increase in production of its family of A320 aircraft, the European planemaker said Thursday as the coronavirus crisis drags on and weighs more on its airline customers.

The power of single aisle jets will be increased from From 40 per month to 43 in the third quarter and 45 at the end of 2021, instead of the previous target rate of 47 by July, Airbus said in a statement.
