According to Jackson police, a gunman robbed a woman of her phone, keys and medication

The 44-year-old woman told police she had met a person through an online cancer support group, and drove to the apartment complex to deliver marijuana to them, Hitt said. The woman did not get an answer when she knocked on the prospective buyer’s door, and while she was walking to her vehicle, an unknown man approached her, presented a handgun and demanded her belongings, Hitt said.

JACKSON, MI — An armed man stole several personal items from a woman during a robbery in Jackson, police said. At about 8:07 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, Jackson police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Shahan-Blackstone North Apartments, 109 Shahan Dr. in Jackson, according to Jackson Director of Police and Fire Services Elmer Hitt.
