Aberdeen is one of the five sites for listening sessions on housing financing programs

Prosecutors outline the financial case of the campaign against Lev Parnas as the criminal trial begins

The South Dakota Housing Development Authority, in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development, is hosting five listening sessions to discuss the 2022 Annual Action Plan of the Consolidated Plan and the allocation plans for the HOME, Housing Tax Credit, Housing Trust Fund, HOME-American Rescue Plan, Emergency Solutions Grant, Community Development Block Grant, and Housing Opportunity Fund Programs.

The Aberdeen session is 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 19 in the community room of the city’s Public Safety Building, which is the main office for the Aberdeen Police Department, 114 Second Ave. S.E.

Highlights

  • The listening sessions are an opportunity for the public to provide their comments, suggestions and ideas prior to drafting the 2022-2023 plans. The public will have another chance to provide written comments once the draft plans have been released in February. Written comments can also be sent to to SDHDA, PO Box 1237, Pierre, S.D. 57501, by 5 p.m. on Feb. 4.
