No Man’s Sky is currently available on Nintendo Switch, but fans of all versions of the game have reason to celebrate thanks to an update to Waypoints. We’ve revealed some new options to look forward to, and a full list of patch notes is now available.
This update adds a new relax mode, gives players a lot more freedom to adjust the difficulty, and adds some inventory management changes, to name a few improvements. The full patch notes from the game’s official website can be found below.

The UI pages ‘Guide’, ‘Catalog’ and ‘Milestones’ have been merged into a unified information portal and visually revised.
Special catalogs have been added to collect stories and information from planetary sites such as monoliths, plaques, and abandoned buildings.
The catalog is organized into more nuanced categories for quick access to information.
A special catalog has been added to record the story of your own journey across the galaxy while completing missions.
A special catalog page was added to record the linguistic information collected from the various aliens encountered during the journey.
A special catalog page has been added to record refiner recipes learned by experimenting with the different size refiners available. A special catalog page was added to record all the cooking recipes you learned while experimenting with the nutrient processor.
Procedurally generated technology is now in the catalog. You can now manually scroll the guide page.
New guide entries are now previewed in the main information portal. Major milestones can now be previewed in the main information portal.
Milestones and medals can now be pinned as missions to provide progress clues. A new set of faction medals has been added.
